France defeating Brazil!! I am not really a fan for France, but I was tired of how people were praising Brazil so much, although they really played terribly as a group.

The best match?
Sweden vs Trinidad and Tabago! Them Soca Warriors were awesome!!

Most beatiful jersey?
I am bias!! Holland Orange will always be mine!

Champion of the hearts?
Germany!! I am still bitter they didn’t win, but i think 2002 they will be champions!

Best moment on TV?
When the German Keeper, LEHMANN, saved the day during the Penalty Shoot out that saw Argentina go home.

Worst moment on TV?
German’s defeat against Italy!

Did you enjoy it?
Well…Duh!! I mean, didn’t you? Though I would have loved to have seen MORE goals!!

And now?
I can sleep regular hours again. I will now just wait for Euro2008.

Its over now! Its finally over!! No more sleepless nights, the world can go back to its normal day to day routine. I didn’t really care who won the game, but I was rather sad it ended in a penalty shoot out? I hate penalty shoot outs.

It started with a Penalty, and Zidaine put the french ahead then Mazzeratie equalized at 19 minutes, and then nothing till the end of Extra time. It was a black mark for France, with thier hero, Zidaine, being sent off for headbutting Mazzeratie! What a way to end your career!! Then it came down to Petalties and 5-3 it was. The end.

It issn’t the cup of life, but at least they leave the competition with alittle style. Even my fave goalie had a chance to play, and play well he did! The first half so not much in the goals, but come the second half, and they poured in with Schweinsteiger scoring 2, and an own goal from Portugal. Portugal did manage to pull one in thier favour with an effort by Nuno. My only dissapointment in this match was Klose not scoring any goals. Now we have to waiit and see if he can win the Golden boot as his closes competitors still in the game are France’s Henry (3 goals) , Zidane (2 goals) and Italy’s Luca (2 goals).

Do you really care? I did a quick poll of my friends both in Malaysia, Mongolia, and even in England, and most people don’t really care who will win the world cup anymore. Most stop caring the moment England, Brazil and now Germany are not in the finals. Lets face it, French and Italy, though good teams, are basicly an all Euro afair. Most people in other continents like Latin America, Africa and Asia don’t really support any of those teams. Sure there are those football freaks who eat and lives football and will know the names of each French and Portugal player, but the everyday fans will not care. How bout you? Do you still care who wins?

Oh no!! I actually stayed up to watch the match!! They really played badly, Germany!! So many times thier defence was crap!! I counted 2 times, the Goalie saved the ball all by himself. I was hoping for Germany to win by Penalty shoot out, but alas, at Extra time they lost. Sob Sob! On well…..No more world cup for me
