Early this morning I visited my dentist to get the stitches from my wisdom tooth removal last week. My Doctor says its healing well, and though there will still be a hole in my jaw for another 1 month before the would fully heals, unless it really hurts, it should be ok. I am just suppose to take extra precautions when eating to make sure nothing gets stuck inside there. So I’ll be chewing most of my food on the right side for a while longer. All in all, I am good. No more swelling, just a little tingling sensation every now and then. its all good.

Oh what an experince! I arrived yesterday morning at my Dentist in KL and was actually very scared. Would it hurt? Would I be screaming in agony. I mean nobody enjoys visiting the dentist right? Before they started they gave me a sedetive to help calm me down and then I was seated in the chair and the doctor injected my gums with a local anesthetic. My gums felt no pain, just the pressure as the doctor started doing his thing. The first few minutes were quite something else as I didn’t really know what to expect and every little thing he did I thought was gonna hurt like crazy. Half way through the procedure it was not to bad till they started drilling and then I really wanted it to end! I could hear the drill and every few seconds I would feel a very slight little pinch, which was enough to scare me. And then before I knew it, the doctor told me to gargle and I was done. I asked him, what about the top one? And apparently he took it out between the peices of the bottom one cos it was easier. And now I am at home, gums swollen, bleeding every now and then, but I am recovering. More later.

Yes, the thing people all over the world fear is about to happen to me tomorrow. I will be having both my lower-left and upper-left wisdom teeth extracted. I still have to extract the lower-right and upper-right some other time, but not at this juncture. I am so not looking forward to it! I don’t enjoy seing the dentist, and I dont think tomorrow is gonna be fun either. Its an operation to remove the teeth, and its gonna take me 4 days to recover. I will not be able to eat anything solid for days! Argh…..Will update more tomorrow after they are out of my body.
