After my wisdom tooth removal, I had allot of time at home recovering and I decided to watch all the movies I had missed thus far, the first on my list, Hancock. I bought the DVD a while back, but just never found the time to watch it. The last Will Smith movie I watched was “I am Legend”, and it was alittle to overpowering, as it left me with too much of him. This film was much better. More toned down in his acting, a good plot and it gave the other people in the film a chance to show themselves. The character development of Hancock from a careless person to a real hero was very beleiveable and I really enjoyed this movie.

We watched this show last night, our first movie together after as a couple actually. It’s basicly a one man show, and as soon as the movie starts you feel allot of similarities with  the Tom Hanks movie, Cast Away. In fact, its a cross of Tom Cruise’s War of the Worlds and Cast Away. It was a very demanding role for Will Smith, and I think he held his ground. He did a worthy job of capturing how a man in Isolation will behave. I equate his dog Sam with Tom Hank’s Mr.Willson. Its a good movie to watch by my account.
