A Local Snack

A Local Snack

I first saw the locals eating this in 2005, on my first trip here. Lin and I were at the Fun fair, but unable to understand the language, and  not really knowing how much it costs, we just watched them eat. This time, Adrian and I spotted another stall selling it, with an English menu. Its basicy a sausage, wrapped in some dough, and with [...]

A Trip to Zaizan

A Trip to Zaizan

Got breakfast sent to my room, how nice and now I am at my favourite hang out place, Narya Cafe, drinking tea and [...]

My friends who work here have started a Malaysian restaurant. They bought over this old place called Antique Pub, and now they are serving Malaysian food. They openned yesterday, and today we went there for lunch, where I ate Kampung Fried Rice and my fried ordered Mee Goreng. The food was nice, and they just have to work out the quantity of the [...]

Its not just the ladies

Its not just the ladies

There were men also in the Square in traditional costumes during last Fridays event, not just women, and since SOMEBODY wanted me to show pictures of Mongolian men, here they are. There was also a mock Genghis Khaan. The guys have cool costumes eh? I wanted to buy one but they were sooo expensive! And not really practical for Malaysian weather as [...]
