Nick Tay on July 21, 2008 in I visited the dentist on Saturday as I was experiencing some pain at the lower left hand corner of my jaw. My lower right corner a little pain, but mostly food gets stuck there. And so Sara made an appointment for me at her dentist, the same one she got a braces from. We went there and I was a little nervous, and I never really liked dentist much. First they made me fill in forms, and then took a x-ray of my jaw. The doctor took photos of me and my mouth and teeth first, they showed them to me on the screen where the damage was and things like that. I needed filling on one of my back teeth, that was the cause of the main hurt. The x-rays also revealed that I needed to get my wisdow teeth removed. Both left and right, upper and lower. Argh. I also have this crooked teeth in the front of my mouth and my dentist asked if I wanted to get it straighten. I said yes, but without the use of braces. He took a mold of my teeth and then told me he will propose a solution and call me. And so he started work on scaling and polishing my teeth and then filling the cavity and boy it took a long while. There was so much blood from the scaling, as the last dentist I went to didn’t really do a good job, and there was rather allot of scales there, which leads to the bleeding gums I have. After about 1 hour, I was ready and with my teeth all cleaned. Stay tuned for more about extraction of wisdom teeth.
