Yes, I have arrived. The rest of the flight was pretty normal. I slept and when I woke up, we were about to land. It was freezing when I arrived, quickly collected my luggage, zipped it open and wore my Winter Jacket. After a few hours of Climatization though, I was pretty warm. Didn’t even wear my thermal undies which back in December I depended on to keep me warm. I was shown to my new 1 bedroom apartment. The place I will call home for the next 1 month. Check it out.

Bags packed. Luggage checked in. Passport Scanned. Thanks to all those who had dinner with me and special Thanks to Leeroy for sending me to KL Sentral. Flight CA 0972 from KUL to PEK (Beijing) has taken off from Kuala Lumpur International Airport. Ulan Batar here I come. Its gonna be a short trip, 4 weeks there, and I’ll be back! More updates after I have landed.
Update @ 6:59am
Arrived at Beijing. Its a 2 hour wait till my next flight which will bring me all the way to UB. The journey so far has been quite good, got a seat by the window with nobody next to me, allowing me to sleep most of the way (snoring aloud I am sure). I did wake up for breakfast this time, which I must say, was not worth it at all. Hehe, should have just slept through! I miss Malaysian Airlines, alas Air CHina was the only flight available. I am now at the Diners International Lounge, surfing and basicly chillin away. Beijing is a cool -5 at the moment, and as soon as the plane landed and the doors opened, it was clear to me I should have worn more clothing! How will I survive the -15 to -20 Mongolian weather when my winter jacket is still in my check in luggage? Hmmm. Oh well, more from UB.

It’s official. After Chinese New Year, I am headed back to Mongolia for at least 3 weeks to a month to do some system migration. This trip is relatively short, but I have also been assigned a longer project in Mongolia starting March, which will be about 4-5 months in duration. Yups, looks like Mongolia is gonna be my home nation for the next few months to come. Did a quick check of the weather there and its still bellow Zero, 28 degrees bellow zero to be exact. Hopefully it will warm up by the time I get there. I am looking forward to spring and summer in Mongolia.

I have uploaded the remaining pictures I took in Singapore, mostly night shots and the ones I took at Sentosa Island, minus the butterfly park. Some actually turned out quite nicely and make great desktop backgrounds if you are interested, check them out at here, I re sized them from 9 Mega Pixels to 1200 X 900.
