Covent Garden (Pronunciation: k?v?nt) is a district in London, England, located on the easternmost parts of the City of Westminster and the southwest corner of the London Borough of Camden. The area is dominated by shopping, street performers and entertainment facilities and contains an entrance to the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, which is also widely known simply as “Covent Garden”, and the bustling Seven Dials area.

The area is bounded by High Holborn to the north, Kingsway to the east, the Strand to the south and Charing Cross Road to the west. Covent Garden Piazza is located in the geographical centre of the area and was the site of a flower, fruit and vegetable market from the 1500s until 1974, when the wholesale market relocated to New Covent Garden Market in Nine Elms. Nearby areas include Soho, St James’s, Bloomsbury and Holborn.

After our lunch at Chinatown, Mel brought us to Covent Garden where we sat down ate scones and listened to the street performers. There was this one guy who did great U2 songs! We loved his voice. Have a listen.

And there I was on a Saturday afternoon with Ryan and my two british friends Rupa and Nealoy. We were talking on the underground and then suddenly a person in front of my turned around and shouted in excitement ,”Nick Tay!” At first I was like ,”Who is this man? and Who knows me in London?”. Then as he came closer, he looked very familiar and then finally I realized it was Joel Chin. A person who I knew way back when I was still a college cell leader in GTPJ. We chatted, exchanged numbers. It was so cool. Small world eh?

There are the rare moments when its nice and sunny in London during Autumn. The sun does come out, but usually it dissapears after 30-100 seconds. Yes, its fickle here. Anyways, on a Friday, the office guys and I went to eat lunch at the park. We bought some food from Borough Market, and then there is a nice little park just behind it where we all sat on the grass and ate our grub. I had a roast beef sandwich as the queue for the fish and chips took ages. The food was good, the weather held on, and we just sat, ate and laughed. This is the life

I watched this on the flight from KUL to Bahrain as most of the other movies showing I had already seen. I didn’t even read the article on the magazine which gave the highlights as I wanted to be entertained. As soon as the movie started I told myself, the main female lead role looked so familiar, but could not place her and at the end of the movie I realized she was Norah Jones, the Jazz artist. Norah did a good job as an actor I think. The movie is one of those artsy types, which allot of angle changes and different lighting, and I think it told the story very well. I enjoyed the diffent people Norah meets through the film, and of course the fact that it had Natalie Portman always helps! I was entertained, and I think it was a pretty good film.

It was time to change them. They were getting rather thin and it caused the car to have problems breaking when it was rainy. We got Yokohama tyres @ RM155 each, and then we had to add the thing where you inflate the tyres at, the vavle. And then balancing and also having to add 2 bolt thingy that they needed. As you can see I am not the most technical of people and the car terms are always wrong. hehe. The bill came up to about RM700. DId I pay too much?
