Ask anybody in Malaysia who drives, and they will tell you the true Malaysian spirit is one of selfishness. Its one where everybody thinks they have the right of way, and where rules don’t really matter. From coroupt politicians who build castles for themselves and going to family trips to Disneyland and Hawaii all paid by the tax payers, to the moron who doesn’t line up at the tols and just tries to cut in at the last minute. I drive through many hours of traffic a week, and it really irritates me when people don’t line up and then swerve into your lane without indicating. I blame their parents, who never taught them to wait in line, but do the same. Anyways, when I saw this picture in the Star newspaper today, I could not help but smile. I can imagine it now, two drivers, one who decided to line up, and another who just tried to force his way in. If I was there, I would have really stopped my car and laughed at him out loud. Why? Because honestly, I think he deserved it. I know, its not a very Christian thing to say. I would probably feel super convicted after that. Anyways, that’s a picture of the true Malaysian spirit. Me first!
