And so I took Tuesday off and Sara and I visited the OBGYN (Obstetrics and gynecology) at the Prince Court Medical center which was closest to Sara’s office. We were very excited!We reached the office at 11:30 sharp and the doctor had to a delivery, so we waited very anxiously. Finally at 11:55 the doctor saw us, and we were very pleased that she was a very warm Malay lady. She asked us the usual questions like if there were any medical issues she needed to know about. Then came the ultrascan. My heart skipped a beat when I saw it. I didn’t really know what I was looking at, but I knew it was my child. We asked the doctor, “How do we know if its a twin?”, and the doctor said, “There is only one of these, so its definately not a twin”, much to Sara’s releif. She said I was very big sized and she is small, so twins would really take up allot of space in her womb. Anyways, so far everthing is good. The baby is in the uterous, which is crucial at this stage. The countdown begins!
