I am a person who, when it comes to background music, very particular about the tunes that are played. I am affected by bad music and there are times when the lyrics to the songs are just wrong for a wedding. I have been to a few where they played songs like “Great Pretender”, and “Un-Break My Heart”. Err, your getting married, its suppose to be happy love songs, or happy songs, no sad love songs, or break-up songs.
I spents days, almost weeks fine tuning my playlist on Sara’s Ipod. I chose songs like “Ice Cream by Sarah McLachlan” and “Overjoyed by Stevie Wonder”. Wedding music is of course and individual taste, but I do recomend that you spend some time on this. You don’t have to be all anal like me, but you want people to remember it.
