London Calling :- London Bridge (The Station)

My London Train PassNick Tay @ London Bridge

Every morning I take a train from East Croydon to London Bridge, which is one of the main train stations in the London area. It is also an Underground station, but I have yet to take the underground. I am sure I will sooner or later, especially this weekend when I do some exploring of the London area. The london train system or the Overground is really cool. The trains are very well maintained, arrive mostly on time, and move very quickly totally unlike our KTM Komuter. We have been issued a season pass by our office, so we don’t have to worry about using our own money to take the daily train to work :) Train tickets are not cheap! A round trip from Croydon to London Bridge is £5. So be prepared if you come for a visit. Buying a day pass may be a better option for you if your gonna be here longer periods.

I remember ten years ago when a day travel card was only about £3.70 . I still get baffled when I go down to London. When I was down there last year , I got all confused with the Oyster card system. Thank goodness I was only there for a short visit. The country side is more my cup of tea.
