London Calling :- Love thy Brolly

When we first arrived, our office receptionist gave us a gift that we would use the most in London, or so we were told. It was the gift of the brolly (Or Umbrella). On our first working day, it seemed rather silly to carry the brolly around with us everywhere. It was big, heavy and seemed a nuisance really. Our office people teased us and said we would soon give up carying it around as they did. This morning however, disappointment changed to joy as I watched the morning BBC news and it predicted showers over most of the British Isles. We left our apartment and sure enough, it was raining. It was not heavy rain, like the ones we have back home, rather a light drizzle. We took the train down to London Bridge, and it continued to rain, with varying levels of intensity. If you ever plan to spend any amount of time in Jolly old England, your brolly is your friend.

LOL told you to enjoy the rain. Mind you we have heavy showers as well. So its best to have a good rain jacket/coat and a durable brolly to keep you dry.
