In search for new dating places, Sara and I were excited when we first saw this place when driving around SS2. The same row as the AmBank, is the Cave, which calls itself a 24 hour Couple Restaurant. We decided to give it a try last night, and we were rather impressed. As soon as you enter the building, you can tell why its called the Cave. The whole place has been designed to look like a cave!! You walk up the rough stairs and then you are ushered into little caverns which are designed to seat 2 people each. You can sit 3, but that third person will definitely be a lamppost. There is tons of privacy and also power plugs for those who wish to bring along a laptop and surf the web as the place is fully wifi enabled.
Saw the menu and decided to order some Chinese food (much to Sara’s disappointment). Apprently one does not order chinese food when on a date. Anyhoo, I did. I ordered Chinese Set B, which included A salted baked fish, fried prawns, a squid salad, some vege dish and rice for 2 people. I loved the food!! Especially the prawns which were awesome!! Sara said the food was quite good too! Yum yum.
This place also has western dishes and a huge variety of pastas.
Final thoughts, Ideal for couples on an intimate date, bad for families and groups.
Final bill :- Rm120.15 with drinks and Taxes (10 + 5)

You didn’t take a pic of the ***** out front?
Wow, RM120? That’ll buy 2 very nice buffets at a 3/4 star hotel, or a sushi buffet at Saisaki, or huge seafood meal for 2 at a normal Chinese restaurant. Does that include alcoholic drinks?
Yup, a beer. Not all dishes are that expensive. The set I ordered had very good prawns and a whole fish.
I gave it a try last 2 weeks ago. Took ages to find a car park in SS2. Food there is ok, but have to say they are rather expensive for an everage person. I’ll go there due to curiosity only.
I will give it a try this weekend. ^^
cool! Enjoy it! Me liked it
