After being on the Road for 5 straight days, Sara, Ally and myself were dead tired. We have seen so much of Australia and done so much. The 3 of us spent a total of AUD 1200 for our 5 day trip including petrol, food and lodging. Most of the money went into petrol and then lodging. We tried not to spend more than AUD 40 a night per person, which we managed to keep. The cheapest place we stayed was the Camping grounds at Cape Otways, the rest were similarly priced.

Some places in Australia, the photo’s don’t do Justice. Example, the great ocean road and the 12 Apostles. I have seen photos of them before and I never really appreciated the beauty and grandeurs of it until I stood there and saw with my own eyes. If you plan to visit Melbourne, do plan for a trip to see them. You don’t have to do the entire road trip as I did, but I do think spending one week on the road here, you will enjoy the country much more. For more photo’s visit the links bellow.
