Tortillas
March 24th, 2008 by Sara Foo
Tatiana drags me to the city to join them for Mexico fair. Check out the Tortillas made by Tatiana for the event. The traditional tortillas (Spanish word- pronounced as “tortizas”) is made of corn and flour by hand and served warm. This time, she made refried beans for the tortillas toppings. To make refried beans, first soaked the beans (any beans, red or black or green) overnight then stewed it the next day. Drained the liquid from the stewed beans, smashed the beans into paste before frying it. How does the home made tortillas taste like? The healthy food taste, if you “un” me.
