I need to arrive to the university car park early. It closes to the public at 9.30am and after that only the permit holders are allowed to park at the premises. It is a popular car park for the location as well as the rate, AUD10 flat for whole day parking. You can’t get it anywhere else in the city. I rushed down to the university this morning and reached the car park gate at 9.28am! Then I saw cars were reversing out from the entrance. I said oh no, not a good sign. Nonetheless I wanted to try my luck so I edged forward to the gate bar and expectedly, I was approached by the car park attendant. He told me the car park system is now closed for the public. I was disappointed and obviously it reflected on my face. Then, the parking attendant said: “Wait a minute, I know U! You are the Braces Girl! I remembered your smile!” A bit embarrassed I nodded. He said: “It is ok, you can park, and it was me who told you as long as u can get in by 9.30am you can park here. But next week please come by 9.00am ok”. He flash his tag and I drove in, free of charge parking for the whole day!!! BTW, his name is Nick too. Hehehe.
I was so tired after a long day lectures, dragging my body to the car at 9.30pm. Only few cars left at the basements. To my horror, my car engine could not start. It never happen before and the battery is working perfectly well. The headlight is ok. I wanted to call the RACV but my mobile battery is flatting. I scare and it is late.  As I was thinking of going to the car park office, I saw my professor walking towards his car. Thank God, he lives nearby my place, he sent me home. I will attend to my car tomorrow.
