All my bags are packed and I am ready to go, I am sitting here in the Server Room, I am so tired I could sleep. The person assigned to send me to the airport is chatting with his girlfriend and he says 15 minutes more, which is code for 30-45 minutes more. Just like this morning when he said he would pick me up at the hotel at 12, which translated as 1:30pm. Or that we would go sightseeing, instead we had to do errants in his car. We did manage to go to a shopping mall where I bought some nice cufflink shirts and two tops for Sara. I also bought some Indian sweets for my sister and Laurent, who I think will enjoy them. My flight leaves at 10:55pm, and I arrive at Singapore 7:40 am the next morning. Then its a small hop to KLIA, and a Taxi home, then I get to sleep on my bed till Monday night when I fly to Bangladesh again. Then I come back home on a Friday and the following Monday, I am back in Lahore again. My legs hurt. They are cramped in a small car all day, and I will soon sit in a small economy seat for 6 hours…sigh. I need to fly me business class!! Oh well, a few more hours and I am back home. I will just think happy thots! Updates from home soon.
