Of February in Dhaka
February 18th, 2008 by Nick Tay
I am in Dhaka, Bangladesh. I had a long flight last night, and I always seem to have the pleasure of sitting near to people who talk loudly all night long! Argh! I managed to get a window seat with the seat next to me empty, and I asked for earplugs and tried to fall asleep. Lots of turbulence, I skipped the meal and the movie and before I knew it, it was time to land. Not having any checked in luggage, I was out of the airport and picked up by the hotel transport before 1am local time. It was 18 degrees last night to my joy and surprise. Never been to Dhaka in February, and wow its rather awesome. I crawled into bed, tried to fall a sleep and then my biological alarm went off. Argh. I had a long and terrible day, traveling from Gulshan to Motijel and then back, wasting about 3 hours in total. What a day.
