As funny as this is going to seem, I actually forgot today was Valentines day. Not that I forgot Valentines day falls on February 14th, or that today was February 14th, more of the fact that, I forgot its relevance in my life. Actually, now that I think about it, it is rather has lost its importance to me. Back when I was a single guy, I used to feel such sorrow that I was alone on Valentines day. I would lament to myself, and to my friends on the sad state of my non-exsistant romantic life. Then I didn’t care anymore, it was just any other day. Now that I have somebody in my life, actually I do realize, it is just any other day, nothing more special, nothing less. My love for her doesn’t depend on what day of the year it is. I can send her roses or flowers any day of the year, It doesn’t mean I love her any less. What I am trying to say is, I love Sara, not because its Valentines, but because I love her. So in that sense, valentines day is irrelevant. Makes sense no?
