Dandenong Ranges
February 11th, 2008 by Sara Foo
Grace n me went up to Dandenong ranges to escape the summer heat. It is only a 20 minutes drive from our home and we are out of the city and to be surrounded by giant trees. We had the award winning meat pie for our lunch in a small English village named Olinda, halfway point to the top of the hill. Then we drove up the hill some more and guess what, we have the whole Melbourne within sight. The view from the top of the hill is breath takingly beautiful. I saw a small sculpture here, a girl and a boy with a tree. A Vietnamese artist once told me, that means love (girl+boy+tree). I miss nick tay.

On this day in History..

Looks like concrete sculpture. It’s meaningful & lovely in that surrounding.
Looking at it, I’d feel lonely too, if my other half isn’t around…

it was not really well done as in the art itself. but it does fulfill its purpose as u have mentioned , conversed the message of love.
