JJCM :- Tib Restaurant, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

December 1st, 2007 by Nick Tay

Sara read in a Magazine somewhere about this place as one of the top 8 things to do in Saigon. It was with this in mind that we decided to experince this on our first dinner date in Saigon (without my other team members). When the taxi first arrived on the road where this place was suppose to be and pointed at the alley, I felt this place was a little dodgy. Never the less, the Taxi driver insisted that this was the place to go, and holding Sara’s hand we vetured down the dark alley, till we came to this well lit signboard that confirmed we were in the right place.

This place apparently has served famous guests like George Bush Senior and John Howard. The food was not amazing, but it was tasty. We ordered 5 dishes and a small bottle of wine, and it came up to a little under USD40. The ambiance here definitely makes this place somewhere to go on a date.Sara’s Rating :- 7.0
