Found this little jewel while I exploring Thon That Thiep Street. “Temple club” featuring an ambiance evocative of 1930’s “Indochina”. It was only about 11am while I got there and the restaurant has yet to open for business (business starts at 1130am for lunch). So, they placed me at the lounge area for a cocktail. The lounge area was stunning with vintage art-deco. Check out the picture. I had the “temple cocktail”. The drink chilled me down immediately after first sip. It was very well blended. I then had the pork caramel hot pot as my main dish and Hui traditional rice cake as dessert. Temple Club had defined how awesome the Vietnamese cuisine is. My total bill came out to be USD17 including tax. Temple Club was really worth returning again and again. I have been to many places and I would say this is one of my top 10 restaurants thus far. A place you should not miss if you are in Saigon.
