This place is a terrible hotel! Don’t stay here unless your only alternative is the streets of HCMC, and even then depending on which street, it would be a close call. The bed is as hard as a rock! The Hotel staff unfriendly and don’t speak proper English. All through the night you can hear the traffic of the streets, as there are only 2 floors, and then there is the construction noises which start early in the morning, even on a Sunday! Oh, lets not forget the laud karaoke noises you hear each time there is a wedding, which was every other night thus far. The only positive thing I have to say was that the Breakfast buffet was quite good.

I have a 10 hours transit stop in HCMC from 4pm till 12am on SAT 1st Dec 2007 before flyin off to Seoul.
Suggestion maybe?
I have no idea where to hang around.
Was thinking to rest in tan son nhat hotel, but since u mentioned such comment, which hotel would you recommend for a nap off..budget no more than USD 50.
I would recommend you take a taxi down to the city District 1. 10 hours is a more than enough time for you to come down here, walk around Ben Thanh market, get rest and get back to the airport. My hotel is only USD40 a night for double occupancy. Most hotels around this area around that price range.
