There is nothing special about the deep friend tofu here. Its run of the mill tofu, deep fried to make it crisp, but that would be no secret would it? The Vietnamese do one better. They serve this with a raw baby shrimp sauce, laced with lemon and chilli, wrap the tofu with mint leaves. I am told when you order deep fried tofu, these two items the sauce called Mom Tum, and the mint leaves come default. Its something you need to try!
