A Pile of Rocks

October 31st, 2007 by Nick Tay

Along the Mongolian plains, on top a hill, almost every few kilometers, you will see a pile of rocks, with a few pieces of  blue cloth tied to a pole, in the center.  This serves as a kind of alter to the locals, in their shaw-men type religion. They will make 3 circles around the rock, and some will even say a silent prayer. They will pick up pieces of rock and add to the stack, before heading on.

On this day in History..
