JJCM :- Indinine Cafe, Jaya33
October 8th, 2007 by Nick Tay
I wanted to go to Jaya33, just to check the place out. Its near my church, and I was rather bored, so I decided to explore. I saw a place that looked quite nice, Indinine was the name. Bright green colours, so nice decor. I sat and within seconds I was given the menu. It had quite a large range of items, and I chose the Arrabiata Pasta, a spicy tomato based sauce and a pot of peppermint tea. The food took forever to come even though the place was quite empty, and my hopes were high, that I found another good JJCM place.

Then disaster struck. The pasta came, I took a bite, and it was as sour as sour can be. I have tasted pasta sauces from discount brands in a bottle that tasted better than this! The portion was so small, and it sucked! I ate it up, and asked for the bill. They took forever to get me my change and when I saw the final bill, I was upset.
Peppermint Tea = RM4.20
Arrabiata Pasta = RM 13.50
Add 10% service tax and 5% government tax, total = RM 19.50
Thats very expensive man! For like RM2.00 more, you could get much better food and service at Pastamania! I was bitterly dissapointed. I went to church office to lament to Danny and he told me that the place was this healthy vegetarian joint. Silly me, I didn’t even realize there was no meat in the menu. It did make sense why they had mutton flavored curry though.
