While working out in the Gym today, I manage to catch an interview with Catherine Ndereba of Kenya. In case like me, you didn’t know who she was, check out her Wikipedia page here. Anyways, as soon as the interview started I liked her already. In everything she did or said, she kept praising God. In her opening line, she thanked God for creating her, and how Jesus was her inspiration and strength. She kept quoting scripture , the book of Psalms, and I believe Galatians as well. I actually think the interviewer was alittle upset, as he kept asking her about other things like what “Does she feel she needs to prove herself”, or “Does she think she has made it as a success”, and in Everything. Catherine kept bringing it back to God, and how she is using the gifts He blessed her with. How Jesus was her inspiration, and how the Christ in her wins the Victory. In a world where so many sports people go on and on how great they are and all that, its truly touching to know there are people who remember the Maker and glorify him in all they do!
