JJCM :- Saigon Village, KL

August 2nd, 2007 by Nick Tay

Sue Kheng called me for lunch, and since I hardly ever get to see her though we work in the same building, I decided to go for lunch with her. We were at a lost where to go, till I finally suggested Saigon Village, when the restaurant where we wanted to go was full, with no sitting room. We got to the place, and they only had 1 free table, the rest were booked for Tourist groups, that would arrive minutes after we ordered. They had this Set lunch thing going on with RM8.90, for a dish, soup and Vietnamese tea. I was not disappointed. The food was good! The soup, was very authentic, in fact it tastes exactly like soups I drank in Vietnam on many occasions! The noodles I had was excellent with very fresh fish. Sue said her dish was good too! You gotta try this place!

On this day in History..
