At the HCM Airport…
July 27th, 2007 by Nick Tay
Yes ladies and gentlement, I am waiting for my flight out of Vietnam. The Amara hotel has been an amazing host, with a great room, showing all the channels, a lovely pool, a nice business center, which at times is a wea bit over crowded, and lovely breakfast buffet in the mornings. The dinner buffet, available Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights, was very good. Great selection of Asian food, with a smaller western section. The sushi and sashimi was fresh, the fresh fish grilled for you was awesome, and all the other dishes they had was well worth USD13 (Plus 10% VAT, 5% Service Tax). I will most likely come here again for a day or two in August, then spend most of November and December here. The airport going out was so much less a hassle than coming in. No doubt the queue was slow, but the person didn’t give me a hassle on my passport, not like the incoming immigration. The airport has changed since my last trip to HCM. Allot more shops, and even free WIFI. Yes, I am wifi-ing from the airport. Cool eh? Flight boards soon. Updates when I am in KL.
