Mongolian Summer : Hours and Hours of Sunlight

July 4th, 2007 by Nick Tay

I was dead tired last night. I had a quick dinner at this fast food joint and then headed home. I tried to go to sleep, but it was soo bright outside. That and the fact, I missed my girlfriend made it really hard to fall a sleep. I finally fell alseep, and then there was a knocking at my room door. I ignored it. Seriously. Nobody in Mongolia knows where I stay, and so, I don’t wanna simply open doors when I stay here. The person knocked and knocked and I just closed my eyes, trying to fall asleep. Eventually they gave up, and I was dreaming away. I had the strangest of dreams, probably due to the movie I was watching earlier, but it was all good dreams. Then the alarm went off, and I opened my eyes, it was all bright outside. I looked at the time and it was 5am. The sky was like 9am Malaysian time already. Bright and sunny out. I forced myself to get a few more hours and finally got out of bed at 7am.

On this day in History..
