Seriously! What? I am a follower of Lim Kit Siang’s blog, have been ever since he started blogging. I am neither a DAP or a MCA member. I am just a voting Malaysian who cares enough about the future of this country to write his thoughts down. Everyday I read Kit’s blog hoping for some good news. Just like everyday I read the papers, hoping for good news. I read today, with much unhappiness the Parliments rejections of Kit’s motion to hold an urgent parliamentary debate on the recent spate of brutal robbery-cum-gang rapes in Johor Baru. I would think Each and Every Malaysian, regardless of what Party you are loyal to would care if Malaysian citizens are in distress. I mean, you don’t wanna talk about Leaks in Public buildings, I am ok. You don’t wanna talk about the ongoing legal cases, I am ok. But what pray tell can be more important, more significant than this? Seriously. What DO they do all day? Talk about giving each other a raise? What?? Please somebody tell me! Please!  Sigh.
