The search for the best “Sup Kambing”….
June 5th, 2007 by Nick Tay
I picked up David from his house last night, and after he pondered on the question ,”What you feel like having for dinner”, he replied , “Sup Kambing”. “Where?”, I asked, and he had to think even longer before he finally remembered that back when he stayed in Subang, the best Sup Kambing he had was in a restauranted called The Taj near SJMC. We journeyed from SS4 to Subang, and when we tasted the dish, we were very disapointed. They have dropped their standards. The Soup was definately not left to simmer for the required time to bring out the required Aroma from the herbs and spices used. It had way to much MSG to try and compensate for the lack of Simmering, and to much pepper to try and mask the taste. All in all, the Sup kambing was extremely dissapointing. Not worth taking a picture at all. Do you guys know where the BEST Sup Kambing in the Klang Valley? Do tell me! Craving not satisfied!
After the disappointing dinner, we called the Lee sisters, (Thay and Liz), my friends and former cell members who stayed very near to where we were. They were going to shop at Subang Parade, and so David and I decided to tag along. Bought a nice Baby Blue t-shirt, for Rm16 bucks, quite cheap I think. Walked around and noticed there were so many displays for things Men would buy, like Ties, Tie pins and all those stuff, then I finally realized. Fathers Day is next Sunday. Ahh…That explains that!
We had Baskin Robbins for desert, to make up for the dissapointing dinner, and then it was homeward bound. And evening well spent
