On Friday evening I was online, doing some work and checking emails and all that jazz and then a blogger friend of mine sent me an Instant Message (IM) via MSN and said , “Hey, you want to go to Laundry tonight”. And for a second I thought to myself, “I do my laundry on Saturdays. And I was going to type that as my reply. And then I thought to myself, hey, “How does she know I send my clothes out to a Laundry shop or Dhobi”. And how people don’t go to the Laundry in a group? This is not like university days, where a group of us would go to the laundry room together and chat and do out clothes at the same time. And then I finally realized she meant, “Do you wanna go to the Laundry Bar tonight”, this place at the curve. And then her second IM Message came in , “X, Y, and Z are gonna be there”. My goodness, I am so uncle. I actually thought she was refering to doing my laundry. Haha. I had cell group, so I told her Fridays actually are bad days for me, but Saturdays were better.
