Oh Crappy Day….

With a start like that, could my day get any worse? You know what they say, when it rains, it pours, and thats especially true for me. I got up this morning, actually happy. I had a song in my heart and I was singing away as I reached the gym. And just as I was about to sign in, I realized my wallet was not with me. I remember having it before I got into my car, but for some odd reason it was not with me now. I literally took everything out from my gym bag, and the wallet was not to be found. I called home, asked my sister to look around the area where I parked my car, and she couldn’t find it. So i left t he mall, drove like a crazy person and got back to my house to find it. Thank God I did manage to find it, on the road somewhere behind my house, contents in tact. I decided I was in no mood for gym, and got dressed and headed for work, but then I couldn’t find my handphone. I tore my room apart, searched high-and-lo and when I was about to give up, I went to my car, and there it was, on the side arm. I decided that I needed to take a few minutes and calm down. I got back to my room, changed my shirt, sat at my computer and made a compilation CD of calming songs, drank a glass of iced ribena, and then drove to work. All was well, and then when I got into this roundabout, I had some moron trying to force his way in. I totally blocked him, and then suddenly he became gangster like, trying to Ram my car and be all macho. I dodged his rams, after all, I am quite getho when I drive, and then as I turned into my regular road, which had cops monitoring the traffic, he sped away.

All this and I have not even started work yet! I hope the day gets better man, cos I can’t take it if it gets any worse. But in all, give thanks. Thank God, my wallet and handphone were safe. Thank God, I am safe from the road bully.

Oh, and Thanks Laurent and Tina for helping me look for my wallet.

On this day in History..
