 Finally, I have watched it. I actually read the plot on wikipedia, before I went, because I just had to know what they would do in the movie. Without giving the plot away, I would say this. The movie was very predictable. The effects were of course top class, the Sandman and Venom were designed spectacularly well, but I felt it was a very rushed movie. Too many things happening at once, and before the audience had even began to get know the specific character, a new one would appear. Before we could understand what Peter was going through, digest what just happen, yet another twist appeared. They should have limited the movie to fewer bad guys, and developed their characters a little more.
Having said that, the movie though it wont win any awards for acting, will be a hit because kids will watch it. Adults will watch it. Its full of American propaganda, especially the scene where spidey swings and the American flag is behind him. My goodness, can it be any more propagandistic than that!
Go watch it, but be prepared not to be awed, but have a not bad time. Now, I’ll just wait for Transformers….
