With effect from 8 May 2007 (12 noon), Singapore had implemented a new aviation security measures for hand carry luggage. This also apply to passengers making transit/transfer connections in Singapore. The new measures restrict carriage of Liquids, Aerosols and Gels in hand carry luggage on all flight departing from Singapore Changi Airport. I have attached below the guidelines for your information.
I think soon all Asian Airports will have the same guidelines as well, so do take note.
