5:30 am, and my alarm goes off. Even if it doesn’t, these days my eyes will somehow pop open, but don’t get me wrong, I can sleep in if I want to. I drag myself out of bed,  go to the bathroom and almost fall asleep on the porcelain throne. I realize where I am, take a look at my watch, and realized I have just went to lala land for about 6 minutes. Wash my face, gargle my listerine mouthwash, which incidentally really wakes me up, make sure my gym bag is properly packed. I forget to bring the most obvious of things sometimes. I really wonder how I survive in the world so long with the short term memory of mine.

I have great long term memory, and I can remember conversation and obscure facts I have learned in High School till today,  but ask me where I placed the bag of muruku I just bought, and I probably left it at the counter and  walked away after paying for it. Seriously! I have done that soo many times its not even funny!! There was this once I was gonna cook pasta for dinner, back when I stayed in Bukit OUG Condo. Now the condo was deep in the housing area, and the nearest place to buy groceries was that mall near Pearl Point, whats it called again? Anyhoo, I drove out there, a whole 20 minutes, just to but some ground beef. Paid for the thing, drove home, and when I started cooking realized I had left the meat back at the counter. Argh!!

Anyhoo, it was raining this morning, so the air outside was nice and cool, perfect for sleeping in actually, but I had one thing on my mind. Working off that Ice cream Sue Kheng and I had after  lunch yesterday. I arrived at the Gym, and saw my favourite staff there. Its this pretty Punjabi girl who swipes your card as you enter the place. She has a nice smile

60 minutes on the stepping machine, and then its time to hit the showers, and off to work.
