Say goodbye to Friendster and Hello Facebook
March 8th, 2007 by Nick Tay
I have fallen in love with this new site. Its so much better than Multiply, Hi5 and Friendster, combining some awesome features. What is it basicly? Well, its a Friendster, Multiply, Feedburner, Yahoo360, MSN Spaces, Ecircles and flickr roled into one.
What are my favourite features?
1) Photo Tagging
Basicly say You and your friend A are already members of Facebook. You load a photo of the two of you guys, and then what you do is you tag the photo with both your names in a ever so easy drop down box, and instantly it appears on both you and A’s page.
2) There are groups based on Location and also past affiliates, like University mates.
3) Instead of having a clumsy blog like thing, it actually allows you to insert your blog’s RSS into your profile, and automaticly shows new posts, just like a Feedburner! Cool right?
4) You can identify how you are connect to somebody, in details like which year you met and stuff, and it needs to be verified by the other party.
5) Of course you can load tons of photo’s into the Site.
6) Event Organization. You plan say a party and invite people in your group, like say a Class Reunion, and it tracks who is coming to your reunion (or not). You can even configure if you want to make the event public notified to everybody within your group, or just to those who you invite. Awesome.
Try it now! Add me if you want
