Music and Lyrics :- A review
February 18th, 2007 by Nick Tay

Superb show I must say and it put me in the mood for love, or at least in the mood for match making! Haha. I had a long day today, started with Sue and I going to Cyberjaya to fetch some botswana students to church, and ending with me watching a movie with my cell members. After church, I dropped the students back at Cyberjaya, got alittle lost in Putrajaya, and then back to PJ where Sue and I had a banana leave lunch. We also thought of the possibility of hooking up these 2 people we both knew, and think could be just right for each other. That was followed up by me watching some tv, and then sleeping. I woke up to my sister hosting a dinner for her inlaws and her friends, and then the movie.
Ok not back to the movie. From the moment it opened with the 80’s music video, which brought back memories of Duran-Duran and Wham, I loved it. I was laughing and laughing, together with my cell members, mostly all from the same generation, give or take a few years. Hugh Grant was great in this movie, absolutely charming and witty, and Drew Barrymore, oh, soo funny and adorable. The different dance scenes and the not to complicated, but easy going and laughable plot kept me and my friends very entertained. Its not a Chick flick, or a purely lovey-dovey movie, and I enjoyed that about it. Its a movie you can watch all alone on valentines day, in a cinema filled with couples, and still come out laughing and wanting more. We enjoyed it so much, that we stayed all the way till the ending credits finished, just to see the extra sceenes. Two thumbs way up.
