I was at this office that day, and I called the Malay receiptionist “Kak”, which actually means “Older Sister”, a term of respect in Malaysia, and she snapped. She went, “What makes you think I am that Old? I am younger than you ok!”. I quckly aplogized to her, as I really didn’t mean any offence. And then I thought about it for a few seconds, and yeah, she didn’t look any older than 25! I just can’t call her “Adik” though , which means younger sibling, cos there are just to many flirtatious hints in it. I guess I’ll just call her “Cik” or “Miss”, next time.

I was having lunch with a cell member yesterday, and she was commenting how so many people in my Church don’t look thier age. She went this person looks way to young to be 30, and this one is years away from looking 32, and I asked her, “Do I look 31?”, and she went, “You look your age Nick”. Really? Ouch. I always thought I looked much younger. Maybe it was the business clothing I wore. Anyhoo, do I really look 31? Cos I turn 31 in July.
