My team members and I exchanged Movies last night. I lent them my DVD’s and they in turn copied a few movies onto my portable hard disk. They had a few nice shows like 8 Bellow, Crash and Hitch, but the one Movie that really surprised me was My Fair Lady. I mean, its not really something I would Imagine they would ever want to watch, much less even truly understand. The copy of the Movie they provided, of course had Chinese subtitles, but me thinks there is no way subtitles can do the Language in the movie any justice. The characters of Professor Henry Higgins and Elisa Doolittle, singing wonderful numbers like “Oh Wouldn’t it be lovely” and “I Could have danced all night”. Its one of the classics musicals, from a time where the art of musicals was truly appreciated.

I have very fond memories of My Fair Lady, especially when they kept showing it on RTM2 last time. I can still remember all the songs in fact.

my fair lady and the sound of music are the two evergreen, ever-loved musical that i like very much. indeed, they are as you said classical music where the art of musical are appreciated.
