When I was in High School, our Assistant Headmaster no less, made a big speech and scolded the Chinese Students and told them “Ini bukan negara kamu!”. I can still remember that day clearly, cos I was deeply offended. I would say 99% of all the non-malays in that hall were born here in Malaysia, I say 99% because I was born in India, but I have what most Malaysian’s don’t have, a Surat Kewarganegaraan or Citizenship Papers. How dare he tell me that this was not my Country!! How dare he speak such lies, and a teacher as well! And then I thought Malaysia has changed allot since I was in High School. I mean, back then Nelson Mandela was still in prison, but aparently after reading this, I may be wrong. Shame on you Badruddin! Shame on you!
