I actually went exploring Shanghai, and I decided NOT to bring my Camera. What? Whats wrong with you Nick? I had a few reasons, one of which was Shanghai in the weekend was packed with people and I didn’t really want to have to worry about being pick-pocketed with my camera bulging in my pocket. One of my co-workers had his camera removed from him while riding the Subway here recently, and I didn’t want to suffer the same fate as him. Anothe reason was that I was just too lazy to take pictures, and I wanted to just enjoy the sights for the pure reason of the sights.

What did I do? Explore the Bund, walk around the shopping districts, the usuall, but the highlight of my trip was the Jin Mao Tower, where you can see the entire Shanghai from the top, which only cost you RMB 50. The Pearl tower, costs you RMB 150 for a visit to the highest point, and I decided to skip that. The view of Shanghai was breathtaking, and sorry no pictures. I guess you just need to come to shanghai and experince it for yourself.
