After the extremely bad episode with China Eastern Airlines, I asked my Travel coordinator back in Malaysia to book me on Shanghai Airlines for my flight from Shanghai to Beijing. I have heard good reviews about this airlines, and I am seriously looking forward to the service. By the time you read this post, I should already been in the air, on the way to Beijing. Will update you….

Update : I am in the Dinners Club Lounge of Beijing airport, waiting for my connecting flight to Mongolia. Apparently there was some form of screw up with my flights to Beijing. I thought it was suppose to be a Shanghai Airlines flight, but for some strange reason it turned out to be a China Airlines flight. At first I was pretty upset, and was gonna complain to my travel coordinator then I decided to esperice the flight first then see if complains were nessasary.

To my delight, I actually got amazing seats. The window seat next to the Emergency exit on a brand new Airbus A300-200, with inflight individual entertaintment system. I don’t even get this on MAS flights from Beijing to KL!! And to add to that, there was a very cute air-stewardess sitting directly infront of me, and we had a very long chat while waiting to take off. She was soo pretty and tall! No pictures sorry

I ended up watching half of Catwoman, as the flight was only 2 hours, and arrived safetly and nicely at Beijing airport at 11:30pm. Here is the screwed up part. My next connecting flight is at 8:50am, and the ground staff refused to let me check in early, to enjoy the business lounge til like 6am. So I had to find a bench to sleep inside the airport. Nothing, I mean almost nothing was open 24 hours in Beijing airport. Crappy airport man!! I hope they design of the new terminal for the olympics is much better than it is now!

Anyways, i managed to sleep on a lousy bench, and here I am now waiting for my next flight…more when I arrive.
