And there we were at our family reunion before my sisters wedding, the 3 Tay Siblings, 2 Tay Aunts, 5 Machado Aunts, Brother-in-law Laurent and Jason the family friend. Somebody brought up how during my mothers funeral when I was 6 I was totally clueless that my mom had died, and then my brother came to my rescue and said, “Thats not true. And I will remember this forever. Nicky wrote a letter to mummy and hid it behind the world map, thinking nobody was looking, hoping it will get to her”. I just sat there speachless, and I thanked my brother for that memory. I will never forget that. Thanks Joey.
