Forced to take leave….

I will be going back to Mongolia in May, and since my leave can’t be forwarded or encashed like it used to be, I will be taking both Fridays and Mondays off, and I will aslo be taking April 14 till April 25 off. Thats like 9 days in a row! If I had more disposable income, I would go to England or Bermuda. What should I do? Where should I go? I don’t even have anybody to holiday with, sigh. Any ideas anybody? I have been looking online and most of the cheap travel are always twinsharing, travelling alone is never cheap. The world just issnt a place for singles! My future brother-in-law is gonna ask his tour agent friend and email me tomorrow with some sugestions. I am thinking of Backpacking somewhere, maybe even Thailand. I have a very small budget! Somebody please help me!!

go to Sabah man…
Look for Eugene, he’ll bring you around.
Say you want to go to island (good for tanning and its practically free, except the boat ride). Climb the mountain; ask Eugene to hook you up with Adrian Chin. You can even ‘backpack’ around Sabah; to the West Coast (cheap seafood).

nono, Sabah has plenty of cheap accomodation.
but getting around IS kinda hard w/o a car. But if u stay in town and do all the touristy things, there’s heaps of services available. it’s basically a town catered to tourism man…
but it seems like u’re reluctant to travel anyway haha

Backpack Northern Thailand. Johann and I did that trip 2 years back and had the time of our lives. We did like 14 stops in 12 days, and went over to Laos and Burma as well. Beautiful scenery, friendly people, and cheap, cheap accomodations! I was planning to write a book on our experience. Still planning….
the-reflector - Actually after my friend yihuey convinced me to go to Bangkok for a trip as I have never been there before. If I can afford it and have the time maybe I’ll go other cities too.
