We decided to experiment. First clip shows how fast temperature drops. We placed the thermometer on the radiator and let it rise till 30 degrees then quickly placed the thermometer outside where it was -20. The results are amazing.

Next we placed the same thermometer on the radiator, and watch the temperature climb from -20 back to 30. Stress test the thing!
