Malaysia’s Abu Ghraib?

Please people! Can we stop comparing apples and oranges. It seems each time something bad happens somewhere in the world, we are always trying to relate it to something else. When the Bali bombings happen a few years back, the Australians called it their 911. When the Hurricanes hit the US, the called it “our tsunami” or even worse I even heard it being referred to as our Hiroshima! Please! I was insulted! How can you compare a natural disaster like a hurricane with the dropping of an atom bomb on a civilian city? One was an act of God, the other was an act of man. And looks like now we Malaysian’s also want to play this game. Folks please! Abu Gharaib, if you have seen the pictures, was torture! They were stripped naked, beat up and filmed as if they were a hunting trophy. I am not saying that doing ear squats naked is a walk in the park, far from it, Its a terrible abuse of power by our PDRM. Having said that, lets call an apple and apple, and a durian and durian. The “squatgate” is not our Abu Ghariab! To call it that just makes the sufferings of the Iraqi people a joke.
