Each and every week on Thursday, I dread don’t look forward to lunch time. After being here for almost 4 months now, I have forced myself to more or less gotten used to the food they serve us for lunch. Eating beef and mutton everyday, is the local culture here, so I can force down my throat gobble that down with no real issues. Thursdays however, is hell on earth beyond me. Thursdays is Milk Porridge Day. I don’t know how the locals can eat that stuff. Milk and rice, sometimes with oil and fatty beef portions, other times with sugar. It could be because I “memang” don’t like the taste of milk, that I have issues with Thursdays. Yeah, that’s probably it. Oh well, we should always be thankful for what we have. There are still millions on earth starving each day. I shall give thanks and take it like a man.

LOL! Yup, do take it like a man. I understand your issues as I’m a lactose intolerant myself. Ever thought of putting some coffee onto it to make it less dreadful. In the old days, I heard poor people have kopi-O with rice.
