I love Malaysia with all my heart. I am proud to be a Malaysian, nothing will ever change that either. I think Malaysia is one of the best places in the world to live in. I used to think Malaysia sucked, till I traveled to many countries both Modern / Developed to Developing. No mater where I roam, Malaysia will always be my home! I need to say that first and foremost.

I love Malaysia, but lets me honest folks, we need to fix allot of things with our country. There is a billboard placed somewhere in Section 14 PJ with a picture of a public phone being vandalized and the caption goes “Modern Facilities, Third World Mentality”. That says so much about our great nation does it. Especially when it comes to our beloved boys in blue. Yes, I am talking about our Cops. The folks who are supposed to Serve and Protect, but sadly The Royal Malaysian Police has become the image of shame and third world thinking in our land. Almost every other week we read about corrupt cops who push their powers around to do this like this. On come on! Is there no hope for our nation? My college read in one of the Chinese Daily’s where some official said that only 5 percent of Malaysian cops are crooked. Wow! Only 5%. You realize what that means? It means most of Malaysian’s have really bad luck, because we always seem to run into the 5% that asks for bribes and such. I am not saying that there are no good cops. In fact I am sure there are many many good cops around. I have met quite a few good policemen when I had a Car accident a few years back. I am not saying they don’t exist, but why does the Government keep denying that we have a major issue with our Police force.

“I learned bribery from the local police”, somebody once said to me. A good friend of mine who moved from Australia to Malaysia was driving one day and was stopped by the cops for crossing a double white line. He apologized to the cops and when they saw his Australian driving license they said this “You are a foreigner! Very expensive for you. Only one solution, RM100″. What a testimony for Malaysian Police!

Please! Pretty Please! For the Sake of Malaysia! Demi Negara Yang Tercinta! Lets please clean up our police!
